Petrified Wood Pendant
From start to finish, this piece is entirely hand chosen and crafted!
My daughter and I often go "rockhounding" in local areas and when we travel, and we pick up stones to tumble and polish at home. This piece is a local petrified wood from Harris County in Texas. I tumbled it in four steps for an entire month to achieve this gorgeous, shiny finish. I suspect this is a combination of agate and opal petrification.
This piece is wire wrapped with stainless steel and raw brass wire, and measures 35mm, or 1 and 3/8ths inch tall. It is suspended on a stainless steel ball chain that measures 16 inches plus a 1 inch extension chain.
